Someone who is curious to understand themselves more and feels a desire to create change that helps them grow or evolve. Maybe you have noticed yourself having a strong reaction to a particular conversation topic or find yourself wondering why you care about what other people think of you even in the shortest interactions. Together, we can learn why those reactions are happening, where they come from, and how we can change. I love helping people understand their world better and to find answers to questions that have sitting in their minds. Getting help is an important step in making change and I am here to help facilitate that!
One area of expertise for me is helping folks manage symptoms of ADHD and anxiety. These mental illnesses and many others can make our daily functioning difficult. It can be extremely useful to have tools to use to improve accomplishing our daily tasks. I also have many interventions and assessment techniques that we can use to learn about how you work!
One core tenet of therapy is exploring with the client and discovering areas of importance to them. Sometimes a seemingly unimportant sidetrack in conversation can lead to a greater discussion!
