Are you struggling with stress, anxiety, self-image/identity/esteem, relational issues, or just general feelings of sadness? Are you looking for a therapist who has a sense of humor and will still make you feel understood. I'm not that stoic, serious therapist you've traditionally seen portrayed in movies. I smile, I laugh, I frown, I may even gasp (insert gasp!). But I'll do my best to always make you feel safe and supported. I'm just another human who, like you, is looking to learn, connect, and grow. I believe in taking a down-to-earth, relatable approach to therapy, providing a new perspective while collaborating with you.
As someone who is a proud member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I recognize that sometimes it may be difficult to find a therapist who fully understands what you are going through. My aim is to use genuine curiosity and empathy to connect with you, regardless of your personal identity, as you bravely traverse this wild little world we live in.
I enjoy working with all individuals and couples as well as adolescents (and their families!). Life is complicated, and I want to help you look at those complications through a relational approach — looking at yourself, others influential to you (family), & greater systems you’re a part of.
