I feel it is an honor and privilege to serve as a therapist. I believe that every person deserves a supportive space to reflect and to process without judgement. I utilize an integrative model of treatment, tailoring treatment to individual needs and preferences. This often entails exploring the past and enhancing self-awareness, while building coping strategies and setting goals in the present. I strive to create a partnership with clients and I work to create a safe, warm, nurturing and empathic space, from within great change is possible!
I specialize in treating clients experiencing difficulty coping with a past or recent traumatic experience, including compassion fatigue / secondary trauma, adult survivors of sexual, physical and emotional abuse, as well as with clients with PTSD, low self esteem, anxiety, depression, adjustment to major life change or to health issues, traumatic loss.
I often incorporate experiential, body oriented or creative strategies and draw from EMDR, Coherence Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Mindfulness Based and Internal Family Systems Therapy in my practice.
