Parenting is the most important but toughest job on the planet. But parenting is really hard when your child is struggling. It's so painful to see how fear, anger, sadness can take hold of your child. Big emotions turn a simple activity or transition into an overwhelming event. You walk on eggshells to prevent a blow up. Coaxing your child to participate in life is exhausting. You’ve talked gently with your child, encouraged them, tried consequences and rewards. But it’s difficult for your child to verbalize their feelings or they push you away. You feel stuck. You worry how this behavior will impact their future.

Middle School Girls Group
An in-person West LA therapeutic group for 6th grade girls to connect weekly over their experiences starting Middle School and learn coping tools for socializing and communicating. ~ Processing stress/anxiety, building social skills & coping tools ~ 4 to 8 girls who are in their first year of Middle School ~ Beginning September 2024 ~ Meeting weekly in-person at my office ~ Only 1 member per school allowed (to protect confidentiality) ~$75 per week
