It is my prayer that God will use each counseling opportunity to allow me to help a person see the strengths within themselves and to take one step at a time in overcoming the struggles of life. Struggles and setbacks in life can hit anyone at any time; none of us are immune. I also believe God created each of us to walk with joy in life, however, I believe he knows we need His helpers here on earth in staying on that joyful walk.
Philippians 2:4 "Let each of you look not only to his own interests but also to the interests of others." God placed others in my life during times I could not help myself, and he has created in my heart the desire, passion, and purpose to help others who may not yet know, or feel they know, how they can help themselves.
Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you..." God always has a plan for me. which has included walking beside others who need a helping hand, listening ear, or strong shoulder for support in the public school setting. These years have also allowed me to gain years of knowledge, skill, empathy, compassion for parents, families, and the children.
