Hello, my name is Kristen and my practice is called Healthy Habits Counseling Orlando. I love helping individuals, couples and families to find their best self! Whether that may be a sober individual, someone who is finally free from depression or anxiety, or a couple who aims to grow their marriage. I work with all ages but I especially love working with high school and college-aged individuals. I offer Cognitive Behavioral therapy, EMDR, and many other kinds of therapies to tailor to the specific needs of each individual client. Grace Counseling offers professional, Christian-based counseling to our community in a reduced-cost model. Counseling is the process of recognizing our pain and hurt (past and present), understanding the effects of that pain and hurt (as it relates to relationships, work, school, etc.), and making the necessary changes to stop the pain and hurt, and also promoting mental and emotional wellness. Psychologist Carl Jung once said, “I am not what happened to me, I am what I chose to become.” With that in mind, the hope and plan is to move towards one’s ideal, true self; moving from feeling stuck to feeling empowered.
