Many feel “off track” and simply want to get back to a state of normal functioning. I like to talk to my clients about their personal needs and goals. My job is to help hold you accountable and call you out when you’re slipping back into old habits or behaviors.

Dr. Mott is a Licensed Psychologist at Counseling & Psychological Services of Central Florida which is located near downtown Winter Garden. He aims to make counseling an effective and comfortable process while treating every person with dignity and respect. The relationship between the client and therapist is one of the most important factors in successful therapy; therefore, Dr. Mott works with the individual to establish a client-centered approach which places the individual's goals and needs at the forefront of treatment.

I'm Karen, and I'm here to help support your journey to wellness. I hold a PhD in Counseling, and I am licensed in both Florida (LMHC) and Maryland (LCPC). I've worked with clients in counseling and have trained counseling graduate students for over 15 years. Early in my career, I specialized in helping clients work through interpersonal trauma, such as sexual abuse and physical abuse.

Welcome! I'm Fernanda Alves a bilingual Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a mission rooted in compassion and a commitment to your well-being. With licenses in both Florida and Massachusetts, I bring over ten yearsof experience in various settings, including outpatient, school, and private practice. My passion lies in helping individuals of all ages - children, adolescents, and adults - overcome mental health challenges. Having navigated my own journey with anxiety and ADHD, I understand the complexities of suffering and the limitations of talk therapy alone.

Counseling and mental health are huge passions of mine. In order to help ourselves on our wellness journey, sometimes we need additional support. I provide consistent empathy, understanding, and open ears to those who feel in need of a boost. I am there to provide a safe space for my clients where they can freely be themselves and work through any challenges they may be having. I utilize a variety of theories such as CBT, person-centered, and narrative therapy. I am also trained in EMDR and Safe and Sound protocol. These are two interventions which I have enjoyed implementing and have seen great progress in clients because of them.

Elizabeth Decker is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Florida who has been practicing since 2013. She has an M. A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University and an M.S. in Human Resources from Fordham University. Elizabeth is fortunate to work with an array of clients looking to create more self-awareness, compassion, and direction in their lives. She has experience working with executives, individuals, couples, adolescents, and families to help identify patterns that are both productive and unproductive.

Nizel Fernandez is a licensed mental health counselor who has been practicing since 2004. She graduated with a psychology degree from Universidad Iberoamericana, a Master's degree in Family Therapy from Universidad Catolica de Santo Domingo, and a Ph.D. in Family and community studies from Clemson University. She has completed specializations in therapeutic interventions, systemic- psych-evaluation, play therapy, and trauma-informed CPP.
