A womb is created in the room of therapy. This is a recreation of the mother-infant bonding and positive attachment that was lacking or inadequate. In this client-therapist relationship, healing is achieved through playfulness, acceptance, curiosity and empathy.

RCT, a private practice serving the South Palm Beach County community since 2012 is excited to announce the expansion to Wellington with the Child Therapy Hub. We are passionate about our work with families. The Child Hub is specifically for children in a specialized playroom for 3-10 yr olds and teens. We also specialize in working with bilingual families. We address issues of anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, anger management, grief, adjustments to life changes as in loss, separation, and divorce by creating a calm, safe environment that facilitates transformation. I enjoy working with clients across the life span (birth- adulthood) specializing in complex cases. Complex could be defined as any of these: treatment failures, multiple or co-occurring diagnosis, intellectual disabilities or personality disorders. I believe we deserve to live with joy. I am passionate about helping those who feel that they are constantly functioning from a place of fear, suffering and stress. I prefer to utilizes a variety of modalities because I believe that one size does not fit all. Some of my favorite modalities are DBT, family systems therapy, expressive arts, ERP for OCD, EMDR & Prolonged Exposure for PTSD.

One afternoon I told my wife that after another tour, I would be leaving the U.S. Coast Guard for a very different career. Serving my country and the men and women of the U.S. Coast Guard is one of the greatest honors and privileges of my life. After serving for nine years I knew that directly assisting and serving people is the life-giving work of my heart. I became a Social Worker and therapist because it is my greatest joy and pleasure to support you as you unify all your strengths and gifts to release your Faith, Hope, and Love into society.

I specialize in working with children from ages birth to 10 and their caregivers. I primarily help children who suffer from trauma, anxiety, and/or depression. I provide caregivers with support and skills to help them parent and work with their child's unique needs. Life is chaotic and often difficult to understand. I help children learn and understand their big emotions. I empower and advocate for them when needed. My goal is to enhance children's ability to build healthier relationships.

The ideal client would be someone who is willing to work on themselves and take measures to overcome their obstacles to improve their lives.
