She is originally from Kentucky and she obtained her Bachelor's of Science in Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University in 2004. She attended the University of Kentucky for graduate school and obtained her Master's Degree in School Psychology in 2005 and her Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in School Psychology in 2007. She is certified to practice with students ranging from Pre-Kindergarten-12th grade, but primarily serves elementary school aged students.
