I am a clinical social worker. I have been providing therapy to individuals of all ages for 16 years. I have worked with a wide variety of issues from trauma related disorders to adjustments issues, addiction, memory issues, as well as mood disorders. Through my work I have learned that life has many challenges. These challenges can be overwhelming and lead to difficulties that present themselves as mental health issues. I view my role as being a healing agent by helping client's gain insight, learn new coping skills, and gain motivation to change.

I have a heart to see individuals find wholeness and healing from past trauma and life experiences. As a clinician, it is important to create a brave space, meeting them where they are, and using a relational approach with all my clients. It is imperative to help my clients understand why they do what they do and identify those negative mindsets that came from life experiences that have caused them to remain stuck. Then, providing them with the tools to help them discover their truth, healing from their past wounds, walking in their freedom, so they can begin to rewrite their story.

Trauma and the effects of trauma can be relentless on one's mind, body and spirit. The effects of trauma can last for years if not addressed and or dealt with. The burden of trauma not only effects the individual, but the trauma can bleed into surrounding areas of one's life and rob one of emotionally and physically healing from one's wounds.
