I focus on two areas - relationships and trauma/PTSD - with couples, individuals, and families. Couples often struggle with a lack of emotional and physical intimacy, they've lost respect & trust for each other, have little companionship, poor communication, argue about finances, sex, children, etc. Trauma/PTSD is often an underlying cause of relationship problems. Many struggle with mental health and substance use as a result. They feel stressed, damaged, alone, numb, can't sleep/concentrate, have racing thoughts, mood swings, anger. They 've tried meds, therapy, substance rehab with little success and feel stuck. Is this you?

I provide virtual counseling to clients in Florida, Colorado, and Indiana. Life can present us with a myriad of events—both joyful and challenging—that can accumulate and lead us to personalize these experiences. It’s not uncommon to find ourselves defining who we are based on what has happened to us rather than on who we choose to become. In my practice, I specialize in empowering women and female identifying individuals to create their own meaning in life. If you’ve ever found yourself grappling with thoughts like "I am not good enough," "I am unlovable," or "I am invisible," know that you are not alone.

Hey, there you are! Are you anxious? Overwhelmed by life or by grief? Are you angry more often than you'd like? Are you a survivor of trauma and stuck in unhealthy thinking patterns or old behaviors that no longer serve your goals in life? Turning to unhealthy solutions to manage these painful feelings can seems like the only option. Maybe you have even engaged in counseling and been left feeling unsatisfied with the outcome. Life is hard and full of change. Sometimes we need help navigating those changes and transitions in life. I get that, because I also experience them. After almost 18 years in law enforcement, I made the transition to becoming a therapist. My ideal clients are adult men who are struggling with Post Traumatic Stress Injuries, Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Financial Issues, and Process Addictions. These issues can have a negative impact in marriages so I also work to help couples restore their marriages.

Are you tired of always giving but never feeling truly cared for in return? You’ve spent so much of your life putting others first, believing your worth lies in how much you give. But deep down, you’re exhausted. A part of you may even feel anger—anger at the world for not seeing you, for taking you for granted, for leaving you feeling invisible. You’ve built your identity around caring for everyone else, but when the stress gets overwhelming, you might find yourself coping in ways that only deepen your sense of disconnection and loss.
