Lisa Maddox is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern who has been working with kids and families in education since 2006 and working in the counseling field since 2020. She is passionate about helping people process and work through grief and major life changes. Lisa believes it takes a village to help a family prosper and enjoys working with all parts of the family unit (kids, adolescents, parents, couples, and family therapy) to help them grow and thrive. Lisa completed her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology, and her Master of Science (MS) in Mental Health Counseling at Jacksonville University.

As a dedicated and compassionate psychologist, my ideal clients encompass both concerned parents seeking assistance for their child or adolescent's behavioral and emotional challenges, as well as adults in pursuit of effective treatment for anxiety and depression. My specialty lies in providing comprehensive support and evidence-based interventions to individuals who are seeking help for a range of issues. I am deeply committed to helping my clients navigate their unique challenges and work towards achieving their therapeutic goals.

We specialize in anxiety, grief and loss, mood disorders, trauma, depression, eating disorders, relationships, and other areas. We are certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Level 3 Trained Gottman Therapy for Couples, in addition to other treatment modalities.
