Life does not come with an instruction manual, that would be too easy. I believe therapy is a personal journey that should be tailored for each patient. I use several therapeutic techniques to individualize my sessions and assist my patients in forming lasting growth. I have several focuses including; men’s mental health, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders, and sex related therapies. I have a heavy focus on childhood trauma and inner child work.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Certified Forensic Mental Health Evaluator, Collaborative Family Law Practitioner, and a PhD candidate in conflict resolution, I specialize in family discord including high conflict divorce and parenting coordination cases. However, my deepest passion is expanding consciousness in individuals/youth, families/couples, and social systems using science and spirituality to awaken a deeper, more satisfying experience of reality. She earned a BA in Psychology from Flagler College, a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and her certification in Play Therapy at Stetson University. She specializes in working with adolescents and adults to address symptoms of anxiety, depression, relationship/matiral issues, trauma, poor peer relations, grief, lack of coping skills, chronic illness and low self-esteem. She believes in a holistic approach to counseling and is able to adapt and alter her therapeutic approaches with each client based on their individual needs.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adults individually, in couples counseling, and in family therapy. Neuropsychology involves the assessment of brain functions such as memory, attention, concentration, judgment, reasoning, problem solving, motor and sensory functions and psychological variables that affect functioning. These evaluations can identify learning disabilities, ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, Autism Spectrum Disorders or other Developmental Disorders. They can also diagnose dementia and subtle cognitive deficits in strokes, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's, Lyme Disease, Traumatic Brain injury, Neurosurgery as well as many other disorders.

Caige graduated with a bachelors degree from Flagler College in St. Augustine FL, majoring in Psychology and Criminology. He then obtained his Masters degree from the University of North Florida in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He also holds a certification in Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT-C). During his AAT-C training he was exposed to incorporating dogs and horses into therapeutic partnerships.

With more than 10 years of experience, I have learned severe emotional trauma occurs if trauma is long-standing, repeated, or targets an individual’s self-worth. Self-compassion is the ability to forgo self-blame in order to forgive oneself for imperfections, as well as natural and honest reactions to traumatic events. Self-compassion has been shown to decrease mental health symptoms (e.g., anxiety, depression, shame) related to trauma, and increase positive psychological traits (happiness, joy). I utilize this approach alongside existential questions related to substance use, career choice, family issues, self-worth, and trauma.

Life can be overwhelming at times. There are often moments of despair and feelings that others simply just don't "get it". Whether you are dealing with grief and loss or navigating situations or relationships that are increasing your anxiety or negatively impacting your self-esteem, I can assist you by helping you first identify strengths and then help you face challenges head-on, at your own pace.
