I am a Board Certified Licensed Mental Health Counselor that believes in science and faith. I believe that a person’s current thoughts, feelings, beliefs and behaviors are determined and/or prescribed by past Experiences/Events of trauma, joy and pain. Experiences are stored in memories from the time that we are able to receive information; and transform into automatic thoughts and behaviors as various situations/conditions occur. An individual’s perceptions and evaluations of experiences affect how they manage current episodes of stress, anger, adversity, relationship problems, grief, trauma, low self-esteem and problems in living.

I specialize in integrative individual and couples therapy for the mind and body. My perspective on therapy starts with the central belief that if you listen to your clients, they will always tell you what's going on. While that may seem very basic, unfortunately, there is very little listening going on these days. I provide individual counseling to adolescents and adults with a variety of issues from men's issues, anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, life changes, career counseling, money issues, parenting issues, behavioral issues, and relationship issues. In addition to individual counseling, I also offer parent coaching to parents and caregivers who are caring for children with difficult behaviors, defiant behaviors, and tantrums. I have extensive experience working with children who have been severely traumatized and have behavioral issues as a result.

Their needs and goals include finding direction and the ability to navigate both these situations and anxiety, depression, etc, that tend to be associated with these stresses.
