Stephanie Del Pino is a counselor who works with people across the lifespan, stating with children (4+). She has a passion for helping children, adolescents, and their families navigate the challenges of life and adjustments. Stephanie is a strong believer in collaboration and works closely with parents to create safe and supportive environments that promote healing and growth. She leverages her over 8 years of experience in both school and clinical settings to provide trauma-informed care.

I am Yasmine Holbrook a Licensed Clinical Therapist. I have been married for 15 years and blessed with two energetic and adventurous boys. I also struggled with fertility and pregnancy. I had my first child at the age of 36 and it took me 10 years. During those 10 years I dealt with fibroids, failed IUIs, miscarriages, and three rounds of IVF, and depression. Looking back at those years I do wish I had the support and tools to deal with some of the emotions and feelings that I experienced. It was a lonely journey even though my husband was right there with me. I do not want you to feel alone through this difficult journey.

Healing Trauma Works provides counseling and healing services for those affected by trauma. Tania Buchanan Boyd, the founder of Healing Trauma Works, is a Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern Therapist with 20 years of experience in the mental health and healing fields. She specializes in energy work, somatic therapy, and trauma-informed care. Her approach is designed to help clients connect with their deeper truth and awaken their passion for life.

Caring for ourselves is similar to tending a garden. It should be looked after, nurtured, and maintained. Sometimes weeds creep in and prevent plants from growing; withering away what was once a beautiful garden. The same is true for the garden of our souls. As your counselor, I will provide a safe and supportive environment for you to heal and grow into the person you were created to be. I know firsthand what it feels like to show up for myself, even when I don’t feel it. As a Black woman, it is hard to live authentically in a society that makes you feel like you aren’t enough or that your mental health is fiction. My goal is to help people find a place of equilibrium so that they become the best version of themselves. I enjoy helping clients cope with feelings of stress, worry, cognitive distortions, issues with self-esteem and perception. Much like in my everyday life, I provide a non-judgmental approach to therapy to create a safe space to be your unapologetic and authentic self.

Whatever it is that you are looking to change or better understand we will work at changing together. Whether we begin individual therapy or relationship therapy, you will see that our time together will be compassionate and exciting. We are experts in patterns, the family's role in passing down patterns from generation to generation, and how those patterns transpire in life on a consistent basis. Equally important is that together we will find out how to keep the healthy patterns alive and how to get rid of the patterns that aren't working. We have a team of 15 that can meet many needs. My all-time favorite quote is “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…it’s learning to dance in the rain.” At Empowered Counseling Services, we learn numerous styles of “dance”. My approach uses your child’s strengths to help facilitate change and growth. The age group I work with is children ages 4 and up and their families. I specialize in working with trauma, loss, anxiety/depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental disabilities, and behavioral difficulties.
