These are trying times for all of us. Responsibilities, transitions, expectations—we all have them, and they can present challenges that impact our wellbeing. Relationships and quality of life suffer, and we begin to question our ability to navigate a particular chapter of our life. I work with you to overcome things like anxiety, depression and trauma so you can live the life you deserve. I help you quiet that inner critic that keeps convincing you that you’re not good enough. I will teach you skills to calm your anxious mind and body and brighten your spirit.

If you and/or your relationship are facing some difficult circumstances and you're looking for some help to navigate how to heal and move forward, therapy is a great option for you. If the thought of healing, feeling whole and at peace within yourself and in your relationships, leaves you with a lump in your throat or a mixture of hope and doubt, it might be time to look for an advocate to walk alongside you as you revisit your history to make a way for a better future. When you realize that you want more for yourself and your relationships, call me, and let's do this together.

As a counselor, my goal is to assist you in the development and achievement of your own goals. The way we are raised, the way we are taught how to behave, and how we experience life is what makes every one of us unique. My focus as your therapist is to help you process and grow through your experiences. In a session with me, we will work together to learn new and healthy ways of coping, identify and express emotions both past and present, and continue to make steps forward for a future worth living.

Happy 2024! Wouldn't it be amazing if we could all float through life without stress, struggles, triggers, and obstacles? I hope your automatic thoughts are "nope" because you are right. All of these experiences from our childhood to our relationships, through grief and trauma make us into the person we are and help us appreciate that we can come out the other side being a healthier, happier version of ourselves. Let me help you find a healthy perspective and begin to live a better more fulfilling life. There is no one size fits all so we work together to find the path that best suits you!

Stress and uneasiness (anxiety) can occur at any age. Learn how to rethink your reaction to worry and hopelessness. Break the habit of living in your head, distracted by your own limiting thought patterns. Where the attention goes, the energy flows…it is possible to train your brain to remain in Joy (happiness) rather than wasting time chasing negativity.

Worrying and feeling anxious seem like the norm to you. Enjoying the present moment or taking any decisions seems impossible. Your mood feels like a rollercoaster every day or, at times, is just numb. Eating helps you feel better at times, but then you feel guilty about going for food or you feel you just had too much, ending in ways to compensate for this. You want to stop this cycle, live in the moment, and enjoy your life. I’m here for you, to listen with empathy, compassion, and without judgement.

Relationships are constantly changing, but how are we growing during that period of time? Closer or distant? Understood or misunderstood? Alone or connected? Are you communicating? Often times feeling are not addressed because we have not communicated in such a way that allows for true understanding rather than a defense. Sometimes we may not know what is truly going on underneath, due to a heightened state of emotions. What would it look like to address those concerns as a couple or individual?

Are you a woman, committed to your healing and self-growth journey, who shows up "put together" and is constantly there for others (maybe to the point of feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, or even angry)? Do you find yourself being so independent that you do not ask others for help (emotional, financial, etc.)? Have you tried therapy or other healing styles, YET, continue to experience sadness, anxiety, difficult/unsustainable relationships, disappointment, frustration with yourself, doubt, insecurity, and uncertainty about what to do to get out of unhealthy cycles present in your life?

You keep replaying the incident in your mind even when you don’t want to. The event has left you feeling on edge and afraid. You can’t relax and it’s impossible to be in public without looking over your shoulder. You can’t stay anywhere too long, or you fear you will come apart. People around you don’t understand and tell you to get over it. You wish you could simply get over it, but this event has taken over your life. You don’t recognize yourself, and you don’t think you can ever be the person you were before. You can’t sleep or focus. You believe the incident was your fault and think of things you should have done differently.
