My name is Whitney Catoe, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I'm passionate about whole-body wellness and taking a holistic approach to assessing mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. I have worked with clients struggling with a number of different obstacles. I have a history of working in the substance abuse field (detox facilities, methadone clinics, dual diagnosis), mood disorders as well as trauma. Many of my clients have experienced some level of hardship and are looking to understand and overcome while honoring the impact their experiences are having on their minds and body.

I've practiced as a psychotherapist 19 years and worked with clients of all ages and from many diverse backgrounds. I work principally with clients with anxiety, depression and/or trauma. Many clients come to therapy looking not just for solutions and relief from suffering, but also to find connection and understanding that's missing in other parts of their lives. I work hard to establish a comfortable environment where clients know their choices are respected, but where they can be challenged to learn new ways of thinking and acting in order to truly feel better.
