She has also been qualified as an expert witness in childhood sexual abuse criminal court, where she has evaluated child victims of sexual abuse and their ability to testify in court due to their traumatic experiences.

She has an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology from Florida International University and a Masters in Mental Health from Nova Southeastern University.
