Life is to short to feel misery, right? I help clients find paths that nurture and grow parts of the self that can enhance one’s experience of life to be fulfilling and whole. People come to me wanting to find out why their life is not satisfying and what can be done to work towards that goal. Often times we get stuck in life situations that block creativity and paths to self defined success. Goals often include happiness, pain relief (physical, mental, spiritual, emotional), self-awareness, productivity, insight, improved, healthy relationships and finding contentment in life.

I was a middle school counselor for over 30 years until my retirement in 2018. During that time I began working in a private setting and have expanded my expertise to address a variety of issues that we are challenged with as individuals, couples, and families. I am known and respected for my in depth work with adolescents and young adults as well as adults and families. Areas of focus include trauma, parenting, relationship recovery, self-esteem, behavioral and stress management and other life transitions. I have expanded my counseling endeavors to include athletic and career mindset.

My job is to help you feel less distress so that you can do the things you want and need to do.
