Although it's true that children are resilient, there are times when children and their families need focused support and therapy in order to move forward and reach emotional health and balance. I am a Clinical Psychologist and Registered Play Therapist who uses cognitive-behavioral, play therapy, animal-assisted therapy, art therapy, and mindfulness techniques to help clients achieve better mental health. Having been licensed for sixteen years, I have worked extensively with children who present with anxiety, depression, a history of trauma including post-traumatic stress disorder, attention deficit, obsessive-compulsive disorder, autism, grief issues, and behavioral concerns.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I provide a safe, non judgmental and compassionate environment to navigate present and past challenges. I work with children, adolescents, and adults. I use several different modalities in therapy to meet an individual's needs. I am specifically trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Adoption Competency. Supporting and empowering each person individually to move to a more fulfilling and satisfying feeling is my goal as a therapist.

For over 20 years I have counseled individuals, couples, and families in solving problems that have been emotionally and sometimes also physically painful. She has a warm and friendly style and has treated a wide variety of issues and disorders and welcomes patients with any issue to work with her. Dr. Diaz specifically specializes in the treatment of Anxiety related disorders including; Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Trichotillomania, and Excoriation Disorder.

Kelvin is passionate about helping his clients achieve their personal goals and navigate life’s challenges. He has worked with individuals from all walks of life, helping them find meaning and purpose amidst difficult circumstances. His approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and respect for each client’s unique journey. Kelvin is experienced in working with children, teens, couples, and adults. He is certified in Gottman Marriage Therapy and is bilingual, speaking both Spanish and English.

Kalah's approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, respect, and a deep understanding of the complexities that individuals and families face in today’s world. She holds a bachelor’s degree in human services from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Masters of Social Work from the University of South Florida. Kalah is Trauma informed and ACT (adoption competency training) certified and has experience in working with individuals and families that have been exposed to trauma.

Kada enjoys working with children, teenagers and adults. Kada graduated with her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from The University of Florida. She genuinely cares for her clients and puts a lot of time and effort into making sure they are getting the help that they need. She takes a trauma-informed approach and uses attachment-based theory in her practice. She also utilizes CBT, Person-Centered and Mindfulness Based Interventions. When working with children, she loves using Play Therapy Techniques as play is a child’s primary form of communication and processing.
