Family Resources has been in business and serving clients for over a decade. During that time it has been our privilege to serve hundreds of individuals, couples, and families dealing with a wide range of issues. Just as everyone needs a physician from time to time, everyone can also benefit from the help of a psychotherapist. It does not indicate weakness or poor spirituality. It simply means that one is suffering from an emotional or mental problem. Everyone grieves, stresses, and anyone can become depressed which is why we will provide services in a professional, confidential, and non-judgmental fashion.

At times we all face things that can feel challenging, insurmountable, or overwhelming. I view therapy as a space where my clients can share their experiences and explore patterns where they may be feeling stuck. I am passionate about helping clients work through this stuckness and detangle obstacles that may be standing in the way of the goals you desire to achieve. I recognize that taking the step to seek therapy can feel vulnerable and I am intentional about providing a nonjudgmental space as we work together in addressing the challenges that bring you in. Life comes with challenges and changes that can be complex to navigate. My passion is empowering clients to navigate these challenges through warm, empathetic care in a safe environment. By working alongside clients and viewing them holistically, I believe it is possible to help them enact real change and personal growth.

I work with children, teens, and families to support them as a family and strengthen their connections with each other. I see children and teens for individual counseling, group counseling, and also provide family counseling. Growing up is hard and so is parenting! We all have times when we could use extra support. I specialize in blended families and co-parenting support for all types of families.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and have extensive experience working with adolescents, adults and families. My specialties are stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parent/child issues, trauma, abuse, blended families, behavior problems, self esteem and parenting. I use a variety of modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, client- centered therapy, Solution focused therapy, and Christian counseling. I have a special love for teens, and love to see them blossom and grow as they discover their true potential. You will find our office to be a warm, friendly, relaxed place to seek wholeness.

I'm trained in evidence-based therapies, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which concludes that through mindful meditation, we can defuse ourselves from our thoughts and emotions, allowing us to commit to value-congruent actions in a way that brings us life purpose. I am also passionate about working with couples, helping them navigate through their struggles at any point in their relationship or deal with sensitive issues. Lastly, I'm a sex-positive Sex Therapist who welcomes individuals to explore their sexual issues in a safe and non-judgmental setting.
