After more than 13 years of counseling; I believe growth is hard, even painful..... but life is also. We can control how we react to things that happen, processing them, or holding things inside avoiding them which can hurt us and our loved ones more. Are you pretending, running, numbing, or repeating patterns in choices or relationships and suffering because it is scary and hard to look at yourself? The more we ignore things, the stronger they seem to get. But, I believe by honestly sharing you can transform pain, heal from trauma, see more clearly or gain perspective, and change your story to change your life!

I was a High School performance art major and find this skill set benefical in providing supports through visual cues using various therapeutic approaches and modalities. I specialize in working with children and families in child welfare. I enjoy working with young children and teens as these are challenging developmental years, trauma and distress from systemic and familial patterns of behaviors, coupled with low parenting, coping, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Jacqueline Korner is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. She has over 30 years in the field of Behavior analysis. She has presented in many conferences in Venezuela as well as workshops in the USA and has spoken about ABA in Hispanic Radio programs and Uni-vision Full time. She has also been a Faculty member in Universidad Central de Venezuela , visiting scholar in University of Miami and an adjunct Faculty at FIU. As a Behavior Analyst, Jacqueline has been a multidisciplinary team leader and consultant out of state. Her passion is helping families, bringing light to their homes, and making what it seems impossible possible.
