I am teaching coping skills, and helping people become better versions of themselves. I generally treat persons individually from the ages of 18-up. Couples counseling is also an area of great interest and experience for me.

Dr. Michelle Lake is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Qualified Supervisor in Florida. She is also an Industrial Organizational Psychologist. She received her Master's Degree in Counselor Education with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling, and a Doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership with a Specialization in Human Resources. Dr. Lake has devoted her life to helping others make positive changes in their lives. We all face obstacles and sometimes feel like we do not have the strength to overcome these obstacles. However, within each human spirit, is the power to thrive and overcome life's challenges.

After having my son with ASD, I saw the need to further pursue Mental Health and so as soon as he became more independent, I started my journey towards becoming a mental health clinician. I graduated from Nova Southeastern University in 2022. An ideal client is cognizant about what they are experiencing, knows what needs they yearn for, and envisions the goals that would satiate those needs. An ideal client, wants to have an overall sense of mental health well-being, so that they strive towards a fulfilling resolve. It is important to know that sometimes the light can come out of the darkest places.
