I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist with a master’s degree in Social Work, a post graduate certificate in Play Therapy and Equine Assisted Mental Health. For the past 20 years I have worked with children as a counselor, case manager, elementary school teacher, and now a play therapist. Child-Centered and Synergetic Play Therapy, Instinctual Trauma Response method and Child-Parent Relationship Therapy are my biggest influences. I believe that when children are given a chance to lead, explore, and demonstrate their own resiliency—they are given the opportunity to grow, heal, and change from within.

For instance, some clients prefer interpersonal, insight-oriented treatment while others may tend towards a cognitive and behavioral treatment.
