I enjoy working with someone who has struggled in relationships or with reaching educational or career goals and has been feeling saddened or frustrated with their limited success. While forming a working relationship, I focus on helping the person to develop realistic goals. I balance my work between teaching new coping skills and helping the person address and resolve conflicts with others as well as within his or her self that have interfered in the past. Then, we focus on gaining motivation toward using the newly learned skills and making significant changes in his or her life.

I specialize in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of children, adolescents and young adults. I conduct psychoeducational evaluations for gifted/IQ, learning disabilities, ADD/ADHD, emotional/behavioral and adjustment needs to identify strengths and challenges and develop targeted interventions. I also provide consultation services to parents and professionals.

I provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children, teens, and adults. I tailor each treatment plan to the needs of each client, helping them to have the necessary tools to be as independent, successful, and happy as possible. I like to make therapy engaging, fun, and natural, incorporating play and client interests. Target areas may include language and communication, self-regulation, executive functioning, daily living, and social skills. Parent and caregiver involvement in treatment is highly encouraged to ensure long-term success.
