I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and an Accelerated Resolution Therapist. I am also EDIT™ Certified I Eating Disorder Treatment Clinician working with teens and adults. In the beginning of my counseling career, I served individuals in the substance abuse population where I worked with women, men, adolescents, and young adults suffering from drug addiction. Fast forward to today, I continue the practice of my past experiences and I specialize in working with individuals who have trauma (PTSD, C-PTSD), anxiety, SUD, depression, life transitions, LGBTQ+, (especially trans individuals), sex issues, and couples/marital issues.

Bethlehem Family Services, LLPC exists to provide individuals and families looking to experience a life transformation with the skill-building support necessary to achieve their goals. We assist you in achieving this through various therapeutic approaches, which are holistic, to include family systems and cognitive-behavioral therapies. Our assessment and treatment approach takes into account body, soul, and spirit. In addition to counseling services, we also provide career and leadership coaching. I am a Christian who has been providing family counseling ministry services for 24yrs, I also possess a graduate degree in Theology.

I have been working with a variety of clients to include: individuals, couples, adolescents, children and families for over twenty-seven years. My experience is as diverse as my clients, I have had the opportunity to work, with couples on relationship issues, families, victims of violence, divorce, step-parenting and blended families, clients suffering from depression, anxiety and mood disorders. I have also worked with clients experiencing gender identity and LGBTQ issues. Additionally. I have worked with major life transitions such as, grief, trauma, and the care of aging / elderly parents.

As someone who has experienced and overcome many challenges in my life, I am able to bring a personal dynamic to my counseling practice. Whether you are experiencing issues from trauma, mental health issues, substance abuse, relationship problems, stress, anger, or other issues, I am able to assist with the healing process and provide better coping skills for a happier life. I promise to be there as you walk along this journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you desire to be in your life.

My focus includes teaching communication skills to improve relationships and resolve conflicts; making peace with the past inorder to move forward with the present. If you seek skills to regain control over your life, we can work toward that goal.

I work via Tele-Mental Health Therapy in Florida and Kentucky. I work with those struggling with Depression, Anxiety, Addiction, Grief and Loss, or hundreds of other mental health issues. I believe you have the power to change and regain your life. I am just a fellow traveler on Life's journey who has many years of education and experience to help show you the way. I often work with my wife, Dawn, to help families and those struggling with their marriage or relationship. Sometimes couples prefer to talk with another couple. Dawn also helps with therapeutic support so you can get support during the week and between sessions.
