Hi! I’m Kate Boucher, a licensed clinical social worker with years of experience specializing in supporting new moms, relationships, and families. I focus on helping new mothers navigate postpartum depression and anxiety, managing stress, and enhancing overall well-being. I also work with families to strengthen communication, resolve conflicts, maintain intimacy, and to promote healthy dynamics and smooth adjustments to new roles.

I am a professional counselor that truly enjoys what I do immensely. I have worked in varied situations, including residential adolescent treatment, psychiatric hospitalization, DUI outpatient groups and private practice. My background includes volunteering in domestic violence shelters and working with women's issues. I am well suited for individual, couples, families, and group counseling.

Dr. Alves is a Licensed Psychologist in the State of Florida. He graduated from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology as a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology. He has worked with various populations including those with addiction or substance abuse, grief issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis, severe mental illnesses, the elderly and retirement issues, relationship issues, etc... He has worked in various settings including inpatient psychiatric hospital, partial hospitalization, crisis outreach services, community mental health, outpatient clinics, forensic hospitals, nursing homes and emergency rooms.

Each client is unique and will have unique needs. I provide individualized therapy to help clients challenge negative beliefs and perceptions and be able to recognize, accept, process, and work through issues as well as learn coping skills to manage reactions and emotions. While we can’t change or forget difficult situations of the past, we can work together to get to the root cause of issues and will talk, collaborate, and brainstorm to help you be empowered, gain back control, and move forward in a healthy, positive manner. Therapy will be always be full of support, caring, and be completely safe and non-judgmental.

I've worked in most medical and mental health settings using whatever treatment modalities work best for you, and I use mainly cognitive and psychodynamic methods. I believe in mind-body connection and sometimes we have to change our thinking a bit. I enjoy working with obsessive/compulsive behaviors and anxiety, depression, adjustment to physical problems, grief, etc. No judgement. I'm straight forward and will help you sort out your own solutions.
