Early intervention provides the best results for children struggling with anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, transitions, and those who have experienced trauma. It is my goal to provide interventions to support these individuals and families.

MOD Behavior ABA provides In home and community ABA services to all of Palm Beach County & some parts of North Broward County. For ABA services, an experienced behavior technician comes to your home, and conducts ABA therapy with a sole purpose on teaching socially significant behaviors: functional communication skills, daily living activities (ADL’s), potty training, social/emotional skills training, academic foundational help and alternatives to challenging behaviors. In addition to the child’s behaviors, we also educate the parents on various techniques and strategies to implement when we are not around.

I have worked with children from 0-12, as well as adults throughout my career. I come from a strength based prospective and I am trauma informed. My clients come with needs ranging from anxiety, and depression to trauma and attachment needs. I work from the knowledge that healing works within systems. My goal is to move clients towards a trajectory where they are able to have the skills to engage with the world in a positive and healthy way.

I am a bilingual Spanish and English Licensed Mental Health Counselor, who enjoys working with children, adolescents and adults. As a parent myself, I understand that raising children can be challenging. When working with children I use play therapy to help children play out their experiences and feelings, and provide a means through which conflicts can be resolved and feelings can be communicated. When working with young children I use Child Parent Psychotherapy, and attachment therapy for infants through 5 years old who are showing mental health or behavioral problems.

I have been practicing for 8 years, and I am fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. I have successfully worked with young children, adolescents, adults, and families to resolve many issues; including anxiety, depression, trauma, attachment issues,disruptive behavior, phobias, and relationship difficulties. I have no doubt that by providing a safe compassionate space and effective tools, patients are able to solve problems and find answers. I frame my treatment approach to meet my client's individual needs.

I specialize in using Sand Tray Therapy, Psychodrama and Play Therapy to facilitate healing. I am trained in EMDR, an effective highly researched yet gentle therapy for trauma resolution. Common issues I treat in therapy include anxiety, depression, feelings of low self worth and unresolved early childhood issues that lead to behaviors that make life unsatisfying.

She has worked with children and teenagers in the school system running groups and individual sessions, and has worked in private practice with children, teenagers and their families.
