For almost 10 years I have been helping my clients heal from their hurts so they can achieve their goals and move toward greater peace and happiness. I have helped clients suffering from depression. anxiety, trauma, ADHD, and issues surrounding their work, school and relationships. Having been on my own healing path in therapy for much of my life helps me truly connect with and care deeply about my clients and their wellbeing. Individuals who may be hesitant to seek therapy because they are nervous or don’t know what to expect would especially benefit from my kind, calm, approachable, and non judgmental demeanor.

I’ve worked with children and adolescents in a variety of settings for over 20 years. My counseling practice focuses on helping clients work through the issues that prevent them from participating fully in daily living. I use “top down” approaches like Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) along with “bottom up” approaches like biofeedback that work to regulate emotion using the body and breath. I have a strong emphasis on self compassion because I have found that young people who struggle can be very critical of themselves. I work to validate their feelings and normalize their struggles.

Dr. Fasula works as a specialist in biofeedback and neurofeedback in Chicagoland and Central Florida as well as for the Dr. Phil Show. She also provides a variety of psychological services to help individuals, groups, and families cope with various issues that arise throughout the lifespan. She utilizes an approach based on integrating individual strengths and assets at more conscious levels to build a foundation of positive mental health and stability. The aim is to clients re-establish a living pattern that improves their sense of satisfaction and confidence in their ability to meet their particular lifestyle needs.
