I'm an open and judgment-free counselor whose goal is to collaborate with clients to help them discover more about themselves & navigate through difficult times. I use an integrative approach when working with clients and believe that the client knows best in regard to their needs. I support individuals navigating their personal journeys, whether that be dealing with gender identity, affectional orientation, addiction, reentry support, depression, etc.… My passions include working with adolescent and adult transgender, genderqueer individuals, and individuals who are reentering society after being in prison or jail.

My work focuses on creating a person-centered approach, to target dysfunctional thoughts, feelings, behaviors and habits that might be the product of past or present experiences, trauma, grief, loss, and/or unhealthy habits or addictions, among a variety of reasons. Reaching out for help when life becomes unbalanced can be quite intimidating. Yet, it is a great first step. I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist and have experience helping people become intentional in their lives and regain perspective so they may find their inner peace and happiness. My goal with my clients is to make a genuine connection by creating a safe and nonjudgmental place where collaboratively we can explore life. I have been in clinical practice for approximately 14 years and have successfully treated men and women with all sorts of concerns to include trauma, anxiety and depression, anger, and life transitions.

My name is Michelle Camp, and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor based in Orlando, Florida working with clients statewide via Telehealth. I specialize in working with children/adolescents and their guardians related to stress, school issues, self-esteem, and self-identity, using primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based practices to help my clients understand themselves better and feel better through these critical early years. I typically work with children and adolescents and/or their guardians, as I am also a Certified School Counselor and bring expertise in both mental health and school systems.
