Dr. Rachel Price is a licensed clinical psychologist who provides evidence-based treatment via online therapy, or videoconferencing. Online therapy is as effective as in-person therapy and allows a wider population to access the most successful treatments, regardless of location, transportation, mobility, or other potential limitations that may interfere with attending weekly in-person sessions. Dr. Price is passionate about delivering treatments informed by comprehensive diagnostic assessments and validated by research.

As someone who went to therapy a lot as a kid for anxiety and various other concerns, I became a therapist to make a positive difference in people’s lives. Human connection is so valuable, and I want my clients to feel heard, seen, and understood. In addition to OCD, I focus on working with transitional-aged youth from 16 to 25, particularly within the queer community, and have extensive experience in trauma work, processing, and healing. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for people with OCD. Our deep understanding of OCD's nuances allows us to properly diagnose and treat it.

Life seems to have gotten harder than ever over the last few years. It's hard to know who to turn to when mood issues, depression, anxiety or PTSD hijack your life. As a board-certified, licensed clinical psychologist, I've spent nearly 15 years helping people recover from challenging mental health conditions. I've dedicated my career to help individuals of all genders recover from trauma. As an evidence-based mental health treatment expert, I also specialize in treating serious cases of depression, anxiety and OCD. I currently have an opening for one new patient.

Media & societal pressures have conditioned us to hate ourselves and our appearance. We speak to ourselves as if we are the bully and the victim. The only hope we have is to alter our appearance, until we realize that doesn’t help how we view ourselves. My experience is with people who struggle from eating disorders, OCD, body image, gender dysphoria, trauma, and co-occurring diagnoses. My heart goes out to those who are disillusioned about their lack of worth. In struggling with my own body image, learning to love myself was a huge transition. This journey prepared me to help others along with their own self-worth challenges.

With over 15 years of experience practicing therapy with children and adolescents in a variety of settings I have extensive knowledge helping children and families overcome mental health challenges. I believe in making therapy fun and engaging for your child. If they are struggling with difficulties at home or school, I can teach them coping skills so they can help themselves feel better. I specialize in treating trauma, anxiety, ADHD, anger, depression, OCD, PTSD, stress management, parenting, and LGBTQ+ issues.

I completed my APA accredited internship at University of Southern California and post-doctoral hours in private practice. I have been trained in a number of evidenced-based and research informed practices and I pull from these to inform my care.
