WE ARE REALLY AT THE BEACH!!! Ron Cipriano is the Treatment Director for the Substance Abuse IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) at the Jacksonville Beach office of Ron Cipriano and Associates Counseling. There are daytime and a night time groups available. In addition to substance abuse, alcoholism and drug addiction groups, I also have individual counseling sessions for addictions and mental health/family/marital counseling.

I am Sonya Belletti, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Coach who specializes in and is passionate about all things family. I take a client-centered and humanistic approach to working with my clients. My goal is to have clients leave each session with value added to their lives, so they are able to build fulfilling relationships. I work with clients who find themselves at an impasse and struggling to get out of a rut in their personal lives, career, or relationship. I also support families who are entering parenthood for the first time as well as established families who are struggling to feel connected within their household.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I hold a bachelor's degree in Psychology and a dual master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage and family therapy from Barry University. I graduated in 1999 and obtained my license in 2003. I strive to create a warm, energetic and non-judgmental environment that helps you feel comfortable so we can work together to build a strong therapeutic relationship and succeed in completing your life’s goals.

What does it truly mean to be happy? Some people define happiness as having enough money to support themselves or a family. Some people find happiness in travel. There are many that just want to be able to stop feeling scared of leaving their house. While others just want to figure out how to get out of bed in the morning and parent their children. Life can be challenging sometimes, and we find ourselves feeling alone. I became a therapist for that very reason. I did not want anyone I met to feel that loneliness. There is so much beauty in feeling supported, and knowing you have someone in your court cheering you on.

I have over 10 years of clinical experience working with individuals who have gone through trauma as well as with a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, employment issues, relationship issues, etc. I provide great care for individuals of all ages. I believe at one point or another everyone is in need of therapy and it should be a shame-free and non-judgmental environment. I can provide individual, family, marriage and/or premarital therapy. I am formally trained in TF-CBT, PCIT, EMDR and Adoption Competency. I can provide pre- and post-adoption services.

The memory of these experiences trigger discomfort, isolation, or thoughts of regret, and you’re tired of being controlled by your past. Substance use affects most areas of one’s life that can include educational, vocational, mental health, family and other relationships. Deciding on what path to take can be a daunting task and the early recovery process can be a very challenging time. I provide therapy for individuals, couples, and family members struggling with behavioral, emotional, or relational issues of any kind (not limitited to substance use) or for someone who just wants a safe space to process the week's events. Facilitating change may require a variety of approaches to fit the individual(s) and their current situation.
