Growing up in a small town, and being a military spouse, I am all too familiar with the stigma that comes with mental health. I understand how difficult it can be to speak up and ask for help. As a mother, it is important for me to be as present as possible in my children’s life while also maintaining my career. In my role as a spouse to an active duty service member, I see firsthand how serving affects not only the soldiers, but their family and children as well. My desire is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for anyone who needs help, guidance, or simply a safe place to talk about their life.

My work is grounded in compassion and support while offering specialized expertise in psychological assessment to understand the whole person in his or her context. I conduct psychological testing, pre-employment evaluations, fitness for duty assessments, bariatric surgery evaluations, write nexus letters/complete DBQs for Veterans, and letters of support for gender affirming surgery.

My ideal clients value honesty, responsibility, respect, and personal growth. They are self-motivated and ready to make lasting changes in their lives for their own benefit. Hello, I'm Jessica. I have been working with adults and adolescents who find themselves struggling and want to feel like they are in control of their life. Some of the issues we face together are behavior difficulties, depression, anxiety, anger, relationship/family conflict, substance use, parenting, and other life changes. Currently, I am also able to provide Qualified Supervision for Registered Clinical Social Work Interns who have a passion for the field and are working towards licensure.

I am a trained ART Therapist. Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a form of psychotherapy with roots in existing evidence-based therapies. Which has shown to achieve benefits much more rapidly usually within few sessions? Clients with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, (PTSD) substance abuse, sexual abuse and many other physical conditions. My ideal client is one who is striving to make a change. In order for this to occur, there must be cooperation and mutual respect between all parties. I will also work with those who are unable to express their feelings & thoughts and who have built these up due to the stigma regarding mental health.

It takes courage to seek therapy and begin the journey towards a more satisfying life. It is not always the easiest path, but one that proves to be invaluable for most in the end. My approach to therapy is to provide a safe, non-judgmental atmosphere where my clients can openly explore all aspects of their lives in a caring, compassionate, and collaborative therapeutic relationship.
