In my treatment model, medication is a last resort and utilized only after other options have been fully explored. My approach is different in that I recognize the role of the brain in mental health. I specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of gifted, learning, developmental, behavioral, emotional, and school-related issues. I also provide individual and family therapy. My therapeutic approach is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) which is founded in the notion that our thoughts cause our feelings and behaviors. Essentially, when the client is ready "change is a just a thought away".

I want my clients to realize the decisions they make have consequences, good and bad, and like to assist them to remain accountable for their decisions.
