I am a dedicated and experienced licensed psychotherapist offering in-person and telehealth services to adolescents and adults at my office in the Ironbound in Newark, NJ. I am fluent in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Galego and provide a culturally-sensitive and inclusive therapeutic environment tailored to meet the unique needs of my diverse clients. I have a strong background as a high school teacher in Newark Public Schools and have developed a deep understanding and connection with adolescents and teenagers, fostering trust and open communication.

I believe that the most important indicator of success in therapy for any client is how comfortable the client feels with their therapist. Once their comfort level is established with me- the work can begin in a positive and practical manner for Adults and Children with Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Multicultural Issues, Couples, Women's Issues, and Work Related Issues to name a few . I incorporate diverse therapeutic interventions to get my client to their goals. I believe that intervention is one of the most effective ways to help someone suffering from alcoholism, substance abuse, eating disorders or other process addictions, such as gambling, internet, or sex addiction. I have been fortunate to have an amazing success rate and, in certain circumstances, will refund fees if the intervention is unsuccessful after a level III family meeting. Intervention is necessary in cases of addictive behaviors because the addiction cannot survive without denial and delusion of the consequences of the individual's actions and behaviors.
