Hi! I'm a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Florida. I have been in this field for 20 plus years. I am passionate about this field and enjoy empowering others to reach the goals they have set to achieve. I assist people with a variety of concerns and my goal is to help others through their journey with compassion and unconditional positive regard. I love assisting my clients with self-empowerment, building on individual strengths and overall wellness. I have over twenty years of experience in a variety of areas. I enjoy working with individuals and couples.

Life may not come with a manual, but we help you navigate it with confidence. We are now accepting new patients for Mental Health therapy. We offer Telehealth and In-Person sessions. Most insurances are accepted, including: Medicare, most Medicaid plans, Cigna, United Healthcare, BCBS, FL Blue, and Humana. We provide therapy services in English and Spanish. We treat patients throughout Southwest Florida, at our Fort Myers office, Cape Coral office, and virtually (Telehealth). Each office offers unique therapeutic services, including spa services at our Fort Myers office. No doctor referral is needed. We accept ages 6 and older.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Master’s Level Addiction Professional (MCAP), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) effective treatment for trauma. I have many years of experience providing therapy and support to clients with psychological, emotional, and interpersonal difficulties including clients with substance abuse problems and victims of domestic violence. I have a wide experience working with people who present concerns related to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, grief and loss, life transitions, relationships, and maladaptive behaviors.

Scarlett Olivares obtained her undergraduate degree in Clinical Psychology from the Catholic University of Santo Domingo in 2004. Scarlett obtained her graduate degree (with honors) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Hodges University. Scarlett is a bilingual/bicultural counselor that is experienced in working with families and individuals. She has honed her skills over 13 years working in the community.  Her passion and dedication led her to develop her skills in another critical mental health area, that of addiction and substance abuse.

I am a school psychologist at Katz Counseling and Educational Psychology. I use a cognitive-behavioral and client-centered approach to counseling children, adolescents, adults, and families. My aim is to help clients identify and improve unproductive thoughts and behaviors. I also teach clients how to recognize and harness their strengths to realize their potential. Comprehensive mental health, academic, intellectual, and personality assessments are offered. These assessments can provide documentation for academic/standardized testing accommodations, vocational rehabilitation, and gifted/special education placement.
