Hi! I am Dr. Lynn Bernstein. I am a licensed clinical psychologist who accepts most medical insurances for your behavioral health treatment. I have 25 years of experience working with issues of PTSD (trauma, military, and situational), mood disorders, adjustments to life, memory issues, and psychological and neuropsychological testing for VA, SSD, and legal requests.

I help adults and teens who are really struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship problems, grief, and difficult situations. I'll help you create the change you need to live a more fulfilling life. We'll work together to address and change the behaviors necessary to reduce or eliminate your symptoms. Most sessions are treatment oriented using a cognitive behavior approach, however I also do a lot of work with adults abused as children. I work with many dually diagnosed clients -substance abuse and mentally ill . Referrals are made to Dr. Bennett McAllister if medications are deemed a possibility. He also uses TMS treatments for depression. I also see a lot of clients with posttraumatic stress disorder and complicated trauma experiences.

My focus is to provide alternative emotional and behavioral tools to clients and assist them on how to best handle daily life stressors, such as conflict, anxiety, trauma, unresolved grief issues, sadness and overall emotional liability. I work with teen-agers, adults, couples, families and elderly populations. I treat trauma, interpersonal and intra-personal conflict, anxiety, depression, career issues.
