First and foremost I want to praise you for taking the first step in making a positive change in your life (as I'm well aware this is NOT easy)! Here are issues/concerns I best target that can help along your journey: anger control, anxiety, blended family issues, depression, low self-esteem/worth, lying/manipulative, miscommunication, negative thinking, oppositional defiant, parenting, Relationship conflict resolution, and helping others to see perspectives different from their own. Again, these shifts are NOT easy to make so please know therapy is what you make it; if you put the work in you WILL see the changes you desire!

In this therapeutic relationship you will find an open-minded and accepting clinician who seeks to empower you as you address the series of adjustments that is life.
You may have come to find me because the conflicts in your life are increasing and with it comes the pressure and added stress that we all know serves only to break us down over time or to keep us stuck in a rut. Is it the challenges of your relationship, the challenges of parenting a difficult child, are you trying to navigate the role of single parenting or stymied over a relationship that is not growing, lacking intimacy or trying to survive infidelity. Every role comes with it's own challenge, and every problem has within it the opportunity for growth.

I work with many Postpartum Depression clients whose depression has now manifested into anxiety. Hormones are everywhere and I help women understand why they are feeling overwhelmed as a new mother and how to find solutions to their problems. Sometimes we walk the pregnancy together. Also, I have a variety of relationship, marital, depression, anxiety, and domestic violence clients. Life can be a challenge and sometimes we feel unworthy or unsure of ourselves. Very understandable. I help clients regain their inner strength, courage, and self-worth, to face life challenges.

I understand that in today's world there are many stressors that have not been present in past decades, such as the economy, concerns about Covid-19, relationship and employment conflicts, and dealing with the many forms of peer pressure.
Hello, it’s good to see you here today. It seems that there are some things in your life, or in the lives of those who are close to you, that are causing you significant stress, otherwise you probably wouldn’t be here researching options for therapists to talk to in Florida. I specialize in anger management, workplace stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parent/child conflict and substance abuse and have been helping clients to find "the answers within" for over 20 years. A 15 minute phone call would be good too see if we are a good fit for each other. It would be helpful to know you were referred by Psychology Today.

While my specialty is brief therapy, in some cases, an extended therapeutic relationship may be necessary and helpful, especially for adults and parents trying to navigate complex mental health struggles as well as difficult child-rearing adjustments at home.
Anxiety, depression, and relationship problems are experiences that we all go through from time to time. If you feel overwhelmed by negative, unwanted feelings or believe you are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, or any combination of stress that has impacted your peace of mind or disrupted your relationships, then we would be a good fit. You are certainly not alone in your struggle and deserve to recapture the peace of mind and joy that escapes you these days. As such, my primary goal is to help you shift from feeling good to living well.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
