I have been a Florida Licensed Psychologist since 1976, providing the highest quality of Psychological services to children, teenagers, adults, and families in the Tampa Bay area. Although I work with children as young as 2 years old and adults who are over 80 years young, I have always had a heartfelt interest in providing assistance to individuals with special needs and to their family members, as well. As a result of my strong belief that no one lives in a vacuum, whenever I provide therapeutic assistance to an individual, I frequently involve members of that individual's close family.

I invested more than twenty years serving an educator and as a principal of therapeutic schools. These experiences provide me with the unique ability to work with parents, children/adolescents, couples, and families. I am proficient in conflict resolution techniques and in transforming their perception of self to cope with anger, depression, anxiety, self-esteem and trauma. My experience prepares me to work with children/adolescents who feel challenged in their school environment and tumultuous developmental stage. I specialize in the unique training required to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder, trichotillomania, generalized anxiety disorder, specific phobia, panic disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, and other anxiety inducing difficulties. It also rare that an individual has a pure anxiety diagnosis, therefore I am as equally effective in treating individuals who also struggle with depression, disordered eating, behavioral difficulties, etc. I have trained at a variety of clinic settings including Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and Rogers Behavioral Health.
