Hello. My name is Peter Lobl, and my private practice is located in Midtown Manhattan. I’m a graduate of the Clinical Psychology doctoral program at Columbia University, and I then worked for 6 years as Supervising Psychologist at Mt. Sinai Hospital West. Prior to entering the field of mental health in 2000, I had a career in the law and worked at large law firms as an Associate. As a therapist, I treat mood and anxiety disorders and counsel individuals and couples on issues relating to communication; assertiveness; attachment; dependence; self-esteem; and anger management, among others.

As a licensed therapist, my highest priority is to build a warm, trusting relationship with clients. I work with adults who are seeking support in emotional wellness, goal attainment, stressful transitions, and stages of grief.
