I work predominantly with young people (from geriatric millennials to precocious zoomers) of all colors, creeds, and misdeeds, who are trying to figure out their life, romantically, vocationally, spiritually, or who, in the trying, feel they may have made a mess of it. Some of my clients are also first-generation Americans who struggle to synthesize the often invaluable but conflicting cultural programming, wisdom, and expectations they’ve inherited from their "Old World" parents while navigating our current, you know, situation.
I draw upon years of personal and clinical experience as well as an academic background in theoretical psychology, contemporary psychoanalysis, hermeneutics and phenomenology, critical theory, and other academic fads to credentialize our aesthetic instincts and a poetic approach to psychotherapy and life more generally.
Most of all, I open an intimate space, a kind of refuge where you can be yourself and start to figure it out. I also work with dreams, broadly defined. And if you "don't dream" or "don't remember" your dreams, then you will.
