Hello, I'm glad you're here. My goal as a counselor is to provide you with a safe and compassionate space where you can find peace, healing, and hope. While this journey is yours, you do not have to face it alone. I have worked with children, adolescents, adults and families in a variety of settings including home, community, residential, and outpatient. I am trained in EMDR, which has been deemed effective in treating many areas of personal distress such as anxiety, and PTSD. I have also received specialized training in the treatment of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (commonly referred to as postpartum depression or anxiety).
I believe that each individual is unique and special; therefore, I prefer an eclectic and collaborative approach to counseling; developing the treatment plan to reflect your unique needs. I am licensed in both Michigan and Wyoming. In addition to EMDR therapy, I often utilize strengths-based, person-centered, parts work, & cognitive behavioral methods.
