Play-based Therapy empowers children to re-create their internal struggles and develop healthier coping skills. Felicia has experience working with children ag 3-17, as well as older adults. Felicia believes the relationship with the client and caregiver is important! Play-based interventions offer an atmos that's less invasive and natural toward healing.
Felica uses play-based interventions that are directive and nondirective in nature and CBT to working through difficult emotions or major life events. Felicia believes every child has a super ability unique to them that helps promote healing. What better way to explore these abilities than through counseling
Felicia understands parenting is a superpower in itself which can be challenging and often overwhelming when our child presents with difficulties in which we are unsure how to help.
