As an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, this opportunity has given me an understanding of how to provide psychoeducation, psychotherapy as well as trauma-informed systemic approaches to helping others make positive changes in their lives for a better future in the state of California and Washington St. It is my goal to help my clients gain the tools they need to flourish, and I can provide whatever is needed to help my patients and clients grow. I use CBT and DBT as my primary psychotherapy tools, as well as a systemic approach that involves the use of Genograms so that a family or the patient can gain a deeper understanding.
As a psychotherapist, I have developed expertise and enthusiasm for the trauma population by working with clients therapeutically. Working with cases involving severe trauma, addictions, family conflict, depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders. Consistency with the crisis intervention team at SAC Health gave me experience in crisis intervention.
As a part of your healing, I can help you to gain the additional tools to develop an effective approach that would help my clients to be more effective within the therapeutic alliance. With my passion for fostering a positive learning environment, I am able to help maximize your performance in your daily functioning.
