My approach to therapy is open, collaborative, and non-judgmental. I support clients by using a strengths-based approach, building on their natural resources, internal resiliencies and innate wisdom. I honor clients as the experts in their own experiences, and believe they have within them, all the tools they need to heal and grow. My therapeutic style is eclectic, and is influenced by holistic modalities as well as evidence-based orientations. I come from an Art Therapy background and hold a deep appreciation for the natural world.
I integrate existential, positive psychology, CBT, DBT, mindfulness practice, and ecopsychology (or nature-based therapy). I believe there is creativity and wisdom inside of everyone and for some it is easier to find without words.
I have significant experience working with teenagers, young adults, adults and highly sensitive creative types from all walks of life who may be facing life changes, blockages, social anxiety, panic, depression, substance use, or behaviors or beliefs that no longer serve them well.
