Hello, my name is Fabiola Ortiz, and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am passionate about supporting all my clients through their challenges or traumatic experiences and helping them through the healing process. I will help then bring their own unique motivation, capacities and values to develop the skills for healing and growth. I specialize in alleviating anxiety/depression, improving couple & family relationships, and parenting transitions. I work collaboratively and transparently to create real and lasting results. I keep up to date on the latest treatments relevant to our goals.
Since talking about goals and the future can be overwhelming, I ease into goal setting in a conversation with the client about what interests them. I will consider what they want to achieve, and then commit to it. I will plan with them the steps they must take to realize their goal and will help them to work through them.
I will ask several questions to know the client better. I will ask them for the reasons they are seeking for therapy. I will ask them their needs or issues they would like to address in their treatment together as well as what they have done to manage their mental health in the past.
