Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counsellor (LPC) based in Philadelphia. I received my Masters fom LaSalle University in Philadelphia and have been practicing for 5 years. I have at present worked soley in Community Mental Health, where I feel I have learned the fundamentals of counseling. Working within the broad spectrum of community mental health has given me the impetus to expand my horizons with the challenges of counseling a more diverse population.
In our first session I may ask my client what kinds of needs or issues they would like to address in our treatment together, as well as what they have done up to the present to manage their mental health in the past.
I feel one of my greatest strengths as a provider is my collaborative spirit. As a Rogerian follower of the humanistic approach, I readily allow my clients to take the lead. I also believe my empathic nature, welcoming personality and I must admit my quick wit, and fearlessness in incorporating humor in my approach all add to my strengths as a good mental
