My name is Angela and welcome to Evergreen Wellness Counseling! Life tends to throw us curveballs that may leave long lasting effects that we cannot seem to shake off on our own sometimes. This is the time when you have to make a decision and consider getting some extra professional support. Taking a leap of faith and trying therapy can be scary, but it can be a life changing event that can lead to a journey of self discovery and let you fully embrace life’s journey. I approach therapy as a partnership where we set goals together and work towards them.
My approach has been described as practical and eclectic. I utilize different techniques and approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Coping skills with a mix of Mindfulness. I work with adults and currently specialize in anxiety, stress, depression, and life transitions that have taken a toll on your daily life.
Providing a safe space is very important to me as this allows room to share your deepest inner conflicts in order to fully address them. I want to make sure each person feels supported and has an understanding of their struggles and how to approach them in their daily lives.
