Regardless of why you are struggling (stress, depression), I’m so glad you are reaching out for support. In my practice, I blend a warm, compassionate and respectful approach with solid science and practical experience. I work with trauma, dual diagnosis (mental health and addictions). I use a variety of modalities & orientations such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, and Trauma Focused Therapy (SFT). Therapy is a process of strengthening your connection to yourself while building new skills and awareness. Therapy should be customized based on your needs, learning style, cultural consideration, and goals.
Mental wellness includes mind, body, and soul; I practice a holistic approach. It is a process, if you are committed to the process, and do the work; you will achieve your goals. I have two quotes I live by; "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting different results", and “progress not perfection”. I offer evening clinic hours.
In life we all have struggles or times in which we need additional support. I offer a no judgement, empathetic, and supportive practice. I have over 10 years experience in substance abuse. I have training in TF-CBT and I’m in the process of getting certified. I have experience with a variety of psychological troubles and I would love to support your healing.
