I have provided mental health services for 11 years and my clients have ranged from ages 3-90 years old. It is my joy to work with individuals of any age whose challenges may range from clinical diagnosis to daily life stressors. I believe in change and in the possibility of modifying habits. Individual counseling and couple's counseling are some of the services provided.
My specialties include, but are not are limited to treatment for trauma, guidance to improve self-worth and self-esteem, cultural difficulties and adaptation to change, symptom management (e.g. schizophrenia, depression, bipolar D/O, personality disorders, anxiety, PTSD, etc.), coping skills training, anger management, and parenting skills training.
I have worked with different cultures and I enjoy working with Spanish-speaking clients due to my Hispanic heritage and experience growing up in Mexico. I can provide therapy in both English and Spanish. It is my passion to help people improve their life.
